Mum is doing better, it appears that it was a blood clot in her leg coupled with a virus that had spread to her heart.  She is undergoing some tests (or may have by now) so I will know more when I call her tonight.  I tried to call her this morning but she's never in her room!  I think she's using every opportunity to go out for a walk in the hospital grounds with Dad.
