Whenever I go into town to do grocery shopping I tend to walk up the high street first, go to the bank and then stop at all the different shops on my way back down before going into Tesco to do the rest of my shopping. By the time I get to Tesco I've just offloaded up to 10kg of bags (I take my own cloth reuseable bags) into the trolley before I do the rest of my shopping.
Rather than damage my back and shoulders, it would be more sensible to put my purchases into my own funky trolley... wouldn't it?
