Stinkin' cold

I'm such a lucky girl, Andrew is so kind to share everything with me, including his cold.  It started a few days ago just as a bit of a sore throat so I gargled a few drops of tea tree oil in some water (tastes FOUL) twice a day and it seemed to be keeping the cold at bay.

Then yesterday I had a bout of sneezing which has really set my sinuses off and made me feel all stuffy.  I have felt so crappy that I couldn't even be bothered going outside for a walk to enjoy the 5 inches of snow we've had this week.  Andrew has been out taking photos but I've stayed indoors.

Here's a few pics of the snow:

River Frome

Catherine Hill (very steep!)

Cheap Street (complete with a little stream that runs down the centre)

Pretty cottage - I love how the snow just clings to the hanging branches and leaves on tree

Andrew has been bitten by the cooking bug lately and has whipped up a few wicked creations in the kitchen.  Most recently he made a lemon meringue cheesecake and some Malteser slice (his sister's recipe, but shouldn't be hard to find online!).

Other desserts he has made are Banoffee Pie (deadly!) and Toblerone Cheesecake (smear-it-all-over-my-body-deadly....  no, I didn't, but I wanted to because it was so creamy and chocolatey).  I can't find the pics for those but will put them up when I do.
